DOL Experiencing Delays in Processing Prevailing Wage Determinations

DOL is currently experience delays in processing prevailing wage determinations due to work it is completing to reissue certain H-2B prevailing wages to comply with a court order issued June 15, 2011 in the Unites States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Due to the backlog in reissuing these H-2B wages, DOL has indicated that new requests for prevailing wages for PERM, H-1B, etc., can take at least 60 days from date of initial request. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as they become available.
